Mastercare of Honolulu is recruiting a reliable Respite and Overnight Caregiver to provide support while family caregivers rest, work, travel, or recharge. Depending on assignment, you may provide evening companionship, overnight supervision, safety checks, toileting assistance, repositioning with training, personal care, meal preparation, hydration reminders, light housekeeping, and support with bedtime routines. Some shifts are awake assignments; others follow the specific care plan and scheduling terms explained before acceptance. You must remain responsive, protect client privacy, follow emergency procedures, and report changes in condition, behavior, mobility, sleep, or home safety.

Accurate mobile EVV records and clear shift notes are required so families and supervisors receive dependable updates. Experience with overnight, hospice-support, dementia, or personal care assignments is helpful, but qualified applicants willing to complete onboarding and role-specific training may be considered. Schedules may include weekdays, weekends, holidays, short respite visits, extended shifts, or recurring overnights based on client needs and your confirmed availability. Caregivers must never sleep during an awake assignment or perform tasks beyond their training and authorization.
