Mastercare of Kailua-Kona is seeking a compassionate Personal Caregiver to help kupuna and adults remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home. In this role, you will follow an individualized care plan and provide respectful assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, meal preparation, hydration, mobility, transfers, light housekeeping, laundry, errands, and medication reminders. You will encourage clients to participate in daily routines, protect privacy, observe changes in condition or behavior, and promptly report concerns to the care team. Caregivers also document completed services through mobile EVV and communicate professionally with clients, families, supervisors, and other authorized providers. Successful team members are dependable, patient, culturally respectful, and committed to dignity, choice, and aloha. Prior caregiving experience is welcomed, but applicants with transferable skills and a genuine desire to serve may be considered because training and onboarding support are available. Schedules may include part-time or full-time hours, weekdays, evenings, weekends, or holidays based on client needs and employee availability. Travel to assigned homes within the local service area is required. Essential duties must be performed safely, with or without reasonable accommodation, and always within training, authorization, agency policy, and the client’s approved care plan.
